2013 marks the 27th Anniversary for Country Suite.  The B&B’s excellent reputation for comfort and hospitality has been noted by the hundreds of guests who have experienced this “Noteworthy” lodging facility over its many years of operation.

Surround yourself in the scenic beauty at Country Suite. Country Suite is an exclusive Bed & Breakfast with five guest rooms nestled deep in the heart of Greene County’s northern Catskill Mountains. This (circa 1865) Victorian style farmhouse retreat is located 3 miles from the village of Windham, New York.

Throughout the years Country Suite has been host to many guests. The B&B’s reputation for excellent service and comfort has gained recognition under the caring custody of owners Lorraine Seidel and Sondra Clark. These proprietors set out more than 21 years ago to reclaim the elegant country ambiance of this expansive home.

Take advantage of the 10.5 acres on which the B&B is located. For daily exercise, jog or walk to the Batavia Kill Stream, located at the edge of the property. Or you may prefer to just rest, relax and enjoy the view from the large gazebo perfectly placed in the meadow, or sun yourself on the expansive deck with breathtaking mountain views.

Country Suite is truly a Bed & Breakfast for All Seasons… Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall, the mountaintop offers year round activities and events…skiing and snowboarding, hiking, fishing, access to a wealth of cultural events, including musical concerts, theater, art galleries and antique auctions and shops.

Meet Your Hosts

Lorraine Seidel and Sondra Clark , both Registered Nurses, established their Bed and Breakfast in 1986 and named it Country Suite.  Both nurses worked in the NYC & NJ area.  Clark has since retired from health care and currently administers day to day activities at the B&B. Seidel is currently CEO of National Federation of Nurses and is also working on her doctorate in Organizational Leadership.
